(AP) --Authorities in Oscala, Florida, say former NBA All-Star and ex-Auburn standout Eddie Johnson has been arrested and charged with sexually assaulting an eight-year-old girl. The 51-year-old Johnson was charged yesterday with sexual battery on a child under the age of 12 and residential burglary for entering the apartment where the girl was staying while her mother was out. Johnson was being held without bond at the Marion County jail. Police said the girl and her thr ee brothers were staying in the apartment while their mother registered them at school. Johnson allegedly walked into the apartment uninvited and told the girl's six-year-old brother to lock the door. The girl told detectives Johnson ordered her into a bedroom, where he sexually assaulted her. Since 1989, court records show Johnson has had numerous convictions: burglary, battery, robbery, marijuana possession, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest, along with a charge last month of battery on a law enforcement officer. Johnson, a 6-foot-2 guard from Auburn University, played in the NBA from 1977-to-1987 with the Atlanta Hawks, Cleveland Cavaliers and Seattle SuperSonics. |

![]() Police: Ex-NBA All-Star Breaks In Home, Molests Child POSTED: 4:04 am EDT August 9, 2006 UPDATED: 8:32 am EDT August 9, 2006 OCALA, Fla. -- Ocala authorities said former NBA All-Star Eddie Johnson was arrested and charged with sexually assaulting an 8-year-old girl. Police said Johnson, 51, was charged on Tuesday with sexual battery on a child under the age of 12 and residential burglary for entering the apartment where the girl was staying while her mother was out. According to a police report, Johnson walked into the apartment uninvited and told the girl's 6-year-old brother to lock the door. The police report says the girl told detectives Johnson ordered her into a bedroom, where he sexually assaulted her. He apparently then told her "not to tell anyone about what just happened." She told her mother about the alleged assault. The girl's mother told detectives she knew Johnson from the neighborhood, but he had never had permission to be in her home. Johnson was arrested in a field near the apartment building. The police report states that he told detectives he had been in the apartment with the children and kissed the girl on the head, which he does all the neighborhood children "as a friendly gesture." (this is as close to a full confession as you get with a nigger!!) Johnson is being held without bond at the Marion County jail. It's not immediately known if he is being represented by an attorney. The former guard played in the NBA from 1977-1987 with the Atlanta Hawks, Cleveland Cavaliers and Seattle SuperSonics. He represented the Hawks in the 1980 and 1981 NBA All-Star games and scored more than 10,000 points in his career. Give a nigger fame and money and he still is a nigger and nothing can change that!! Evil lurks in the heart of every nigger buck, they are all a rape waiting to happen. Good find, 88!! Gman

The 51-year-old Johnson is accused of entering the apartment where the girl was staying while her mother was out, said Sgt. Russ Kern of the Ocala police department. He was charged Tuesday with sexual battery on a child under the age of 12 and residential burglary. [SI ZE="2"]He has also been charged with sexual battery and burglary in the rape of a 25-year-old woman Aug. 6 at an Ocala motel room, police said Wednesday.[/SIZE] Johnson, a guard from Auburn who played in the NBA from 1977-1987 with the Atlanta Hawks, Cleveland Cavaliers and Seattle SuperSonics, was being held at the Marion County jail. He is not to be confused with the Eddie Johnson who is now a television analyst with his former team, the Phoenix Suns. -- Since 1989, online Marion County court records show Johnson has had numerous convictions: burglary, battery, robbery, marijuana possession, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest, along with a charge last month of battery on a law enforcement officer and resisting or obstructing an officer without violence, the newspaper reported Wednesday. |
