Man Accused Of Urinating On Books

An Over-the-Rhine man was arrested Wednesday, after witnesses said they saw him urinate on books at the downtown branch of the Hamilton County Public Library.

Eldred Earl Cobb, 57, is facing charges of criminal mischief, public indecency and obstructing official business.

According to court records, Cobb admitted to the offense.

Cincinnati police say Cobb walked away from them when they were trying to question him.

A public library used to be a great place to take the kids, but not since the libraries put in computers and offered free internet connections.
