Police Need Help Finding A Rape Suspect In Harrisburg

Suspect, Robert Diggs, is still at large

Harrisburg City - This morning around 6:00 am, a 44-year old homeless woman was lured by a homeless man to his make-shift shelter.

The man showed interest in being a friend, and led the victim to the 100 block of Paxton Street in Harrisburg.

The woman walked to the shelter with him and was immediately attacked, beaten and raped.

She got free and ran for help from Dauphin County agencies.

Police were not able to locate Robert Diggs, who is now being charged with Rape and related offenses.

Diggs is encouraged to surrender to the Harrisburg City Police and or get assistance from friends or family to arrange a surrender.
