WARSAW, Ind. - NewsChannel 15 has confirmed that the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms raided the Warsaw home of Tom Metzger on Thursday. Metzger founded the White Aryan Resistance, an organization considered to be a neo-nazi hate group.

The ATF has not released details of what agents were looking for, but it's known that Metzger was allowed to leave his home while the search was underway. He has not been arrested.

According to the Anti-Defamation League, an organization devoted to fighting anti-Semitism and other forms of bigotry, Metzger has been a Grand Dragon of the KKK and a member of the John Birch Society. In 1990, an Oregon j
ury rendered a $12.5 million judgment against Metzger and his son for inciting the murder of an Ethiopian immigrant by neo-Nazi skinheads.

Metzger's web site currently has a link to the text of James von Brunn's book "Kill the Best Gentiles", which was written in an attempt to refute the existence of the Holocaust. On June 10, von Brunn opened fire inside the Holocaust museum in Washington D.C. and killed a security guard.

Federal agents search home of Kosciusko man

Federal agents early Thursday searched the Kosciusko County home of a man known to have connections to white supremacist organizations.

Agents served a search warrant on the Warsaw home of Thomas Metzger, according to Special Agent Kim Riddell of the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

The search warrant was executed without incident and no one was arrested. Riddell would not comment further.

A longtime leader in the white supremacist movement and founder of the White Aryan Resistance group, Metzger manages a racist Web site and has been affiliated with a number of hate groups such as the Ku Klux Klan and the Christian Identity movement, according to the Anti-Defamation League.

Feds make arrests in Scottsdale bombing

Federal authorities conducting raids in at least three states have arrested twin brothers with ties to white supremacist groups Thursday in connection with a mail bomb that injured three employees of the Scottsdale Office of Diversity and Dialogue in 2004.

Dennis Mahon and Daniel Mahon were arrested in David Junction, Ill., and appeared in court in Rockford, according to court documents. The three-count indictment alleges that Dennis Mahon built the bomb on Feb. 21, 2004, and sent it to Don Logan, former Scottsdale diversity director, who opened the package Feb. 26, 2004, injuring him, Renita Linyard and Jacque Bell.

Logan caught the brunt of the bomb
and had to undergo extensive surgery to repair damage to his hands and arms.

Logan, who now works in a similar job for Glendale, was instructed by the U.S. Attorney's Office in Arizona not give interviews, but he did release a written statement.

"We've waited five years to hear the news announced (Thursday) regarding the arrest of two individuals alleged to have been responsible for the February 2004 mail bombing in Scottsdale. (The) announcement was met with much enthusiasm and appreciation," Logan said.

The Mahon brothers are charged with conspiracy to damage buildings and property by means of explosive, malicious damage of building by means of explosive and distribution of information related to explosives.

"The object of the conspiracy was to promote racial discord on behalf of the 'White Aryan Resistance' (WAR) by damaging and destroying buildings, facilities and real property of both government and businesses whose activities defendants believed conflicted with their goal
s," the indictment states.

Also on Tuesday, authorities served a search warrant on the home of Tom Metzger, founder of WAR, in Warsaw, Ind.

Metzger's Web site describes him as "converted from minister to Free Thinker, reborn from right-winger to racist."

Authorities hinted last year that the Scottsdale bombing had "commonalities" with other bombings throughout the United States and Canada.

Authorities also arrested Robert Joos, 56, in Missouri Thursday in connection with "a federal investigation" into the Scottsdale bombing, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office in the Western District of Missouri.

A search warrant affidavit for Joos' home says undercover ATF agents from Arizona, with the help of a confidential informant, have been investigating the Mahon brothers since January 2005.

The agents were led to Joos' remote, 200-acre compound by a telephone call Dennis Mahon made to Joos on the morning of the Scottsdale bombing, the affidavit states.

The arres
ts come a year after U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives announced it had made significant strides in the bombing case with the help of new technology able to extract tiny amounts of DNA from bomb debris.

Special agent Tom Mangan, spokesman for the ATF, declined comment.

The indictment, however, provides specific instances where the brothers taught others how to build bombs and avoid police.

One of the overt acts alleged in the indictment was on Feb. 13, 2008, when Dennis Mahon ordered "an individual to conduct violent action on behalf of the movement" and provide proof by mailing him newspaper clippings.

As recently as Jan. 5, Dennis Mahon ordered someone to "take action against the power grid in Arizona or Texas in the event that leaders of the white resistance, such as himself, were arrested," the indictment states.

Thursday morning agents with The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms raided the Warsaw home of a man who has been a known leader in the white supremacist movement for more than 30 years.

ATF officials confirm a raid on the Warsaw home of Thomas Metzger. Officials tell NewsCenter 16 they served a warrant and a search was conducted without incident. ATF agents were reportedly on the scene for several hours. So far, no arrests have been made.

Few details are known at this time because the case has been sealed, due to a court order. The Office of Assistant U.S. Attorney Donald Schmid says "We cannot confirm or deny this information. We have no
comment."

According to the Anti-Defamation League, Metzger is a founder and leader of the now defunct “White Ayran Resistance”� group and a Grand Dragon in the Ku Klux Klan. The ADL also says Metzger praised the June 10th killing of a black security guard at the U.S. Holocaust Museum by alleged shooter and white supremacist, James Von Brunn. The ADL says Metzger declared June 10th to be “James Von Brunn Day”�.

WARSAW, Ind. - ATF agents have been tight-lipped about the reason they raided the Warsaw home of local white supremacist Tom Metzger; but Metzger had plenty to say to NewsChannel 15 about the incident.

Agents with The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives searched Metzger's home early Thursday. Friday, he spoke exclusively to NewsChannel 15 about what happened.

"Very little catches me by surprise," said Metzger.

I have to really reign myself in these days. Every time I hear about the murder of some
poor, innocent white child because one of the liberal elite's pets is still allowed to stalk our land, I want to go out and start killing, and killing, and killing until I can no longer stand upright. Literally millions of pissed whites are packing up their families and belongings and getting the hell out of Dodge. This is scaring the hell out of the California liberal politicians, because these are the producers, the ones they squeeze for revenues. California is already in deep doo-doo over a multi-billion dollar budget shortfall this year, thanks to your friendly neighborhood jew on Wall Street. Consequently they've
been jacking up fees and taxes on everything they can think of. And not by a few dollars either, but by doubling all taxes and fees. To add insult to injury, the liberals here have been on a "screw whitey" campaign for the past two years. I watched an arrest earlier today on local TV, where some cops pulled over a Dodge pickup that had been circling a dark neighborhood for over two hours, casing houses. It turned out to be a drunk and stoned wetback that was so fresh from the Rio Grande that he was still dripping. He was driving a stolen truck (what else?), and had a stash of coke on him, along with some burglar's tools. Typical enterprising wetba
ck: Sneak across the border, steal a car, and start robbing whitey. When we take this land back, we should pass a new law that makes it perfectly legal to KILL these bastards on sight. We have GOT to rid our land of all muds, period. Harsh? Not as harsh as allowing those bastards to stay here and continue breeding like cockroaches.
