Default Dangerous/cowardly coons cap cop in Nashville

No suspect info yet. Chances are it is a negro. Not many Whites just walk up and shoot a cop.

A 22-year Metro Police veteran called in his own shooting after a traffic stop became violent.

Spokesman Don Aaron said Sgt. Mark Chesnut, 44, was near exit 196 on Interstate 40 eastbound running a drivers license. A suspect from the car he was checking, which bore Georgia tags, walked up beside the car and opened fire.

But Chesnut was wearing body armor, and police could only confirm one shot to his upper body. He was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in critical condition, although he was alert and talking.

Two suspects were arrested in front of Martin's Wrecker Service on Hermitage Avenue a sho
rt time later. Aaron wouldn't confirm their names.

Chesnut's job was with the interstate interdiction unit, driving an unmarked car and making stops for speeding and other traffic violations. Aaron wouldn't confirm what the violation was but said it was routine.

Metro police have taken into custody the two suspects in the Metro Sgt. shooting, arresting them at Hermitage Avenue and Fairfield Avenue. One of the suspects was an escaped inmate from Mississippi.

Joseph Jackson, 29-years-old, escaped from a private prison facility in Greenwood, Mississippi. Jackson was serving a life term for armed robbery and aggravated assault.

He escaped Thursday morning during a doctor's appointment. Officials said accomplice Courtney Logan stormed the doctor's office and was able to free Jackson.

"Courtney Logan essentially busted into the office fired several shots in the roof, ceiling fan tile area, made everyone
get on the ground and freed Joseph Jackson from custody," said Metro Police Chief Ronal Serpas.

The pair took off in a black Dodge Magnum - the same kind of vehicle they were driving when officer Chesnut was shot late Thursday afternoon. Logan rented the Magnum from Thrifty Car Rental in Louisville, Kentucky.

"These were some dangerous, dangerous, dangerous people who cowardly attacked Sgt. Chesnut while he sat in his car running the license plate - cowardly attacked, cowardly," said Serpas.

Within an hour of Sergeant Mark Chesnut being shot the suspects were chased down.

Dangerous, dangerous, dangerous cowards..... Ole Serpas sure knows his nigga's.

Not related to the case above - another nigger...another cop.

A 33-year-old ape-man
has been arrested and charged with shooting at a Pasco County deputy.

Cops say Theofohilus Himber Burns shot at deputy Steven napolean Monday night. Napolean was responding to a report of shots fired at the Dade Oaks Apartments at Acorn Loop and 14th Street when he encountered a man who pointed a gun at him.

As the deputy took cover, the gunman fired, but Napolean was not hit.

The gunman then ran away.

Burns was spotted sitting on a porch Wednesday evening at 37330 Oak Street and Dade City and was arrested without incident.
n
Burns spent time in prison from 1994 to 1998 on a manslaughter conviction.

He's now charged with attempted murder.

Theofohilus?

A Metro police sergeant continues to recover after being shot several times during a traffic stop. Doctors said Sgt. Mark Chestnut's fight was far from over, but they have hope.

Chestnut had his second surgery procedure Friday morning. Officials said he had a rough night on Thursday, and he was in a medically induced coma so his body can more easily recover.

The officer had many well wishers from one officer after another at Vanderbilt University Hospital Friday afternoon.

The men and women in blue wanted to show their support for injured Chesnut. He suffered critical injuries Thursday after he was shot several times during a traffic
stop.

The two men accused of critically injuring a Metro police officer during a traffic stop have been scheduled to answer to the charges in court Tuesday.

Joseph Jackson and Courtney Logan will be arraigned Tuesday on attempted first degree murder charges.

Police said Jackson, an escaped inmate from Mississippi, shot Sgt. Mark Chesnut several times in June 2009 while the officer was sitting in his patrol car on Interstate 40 near Bellevue. Chestnut had just stopped the pair for a seatbelt violation.

Chesnut has since returned to work following his recovery.

Chesnut also filed a $14 million lawsuit against the Corrections Corporation of America, claiming they are responsible for his injuries because Jackson escaped from custody under the supervision of their guards at a doctor's appointment.
