Africoon Scummigrant Featured On America's Most Wanted ![]() Robert Gaye You Can Take The Negro Out Of The Jungle But You Can't Take The Jungle Out Of The Negro ![]() Quote:
The Minnesota Fugitive Task Force credits the program and viewer tips with Gaye's arrest Sunday night at a soccer field in Glendale, Ariz. In February, Gaye was the first fugitive to be featured in the Twin Cities area on Clear Channel Outdoor's digital billboards. He also was on Hennepin County's "Ten Most Wanted" list. He was wanted for first-degree criminal sexual conduct in the assault of a 9-year-girl on May 2, 2006, in Golden Valley. The Minnesota Fugitive Task Force had tipped the FBI in Phoenix that Gaye might be in the area. Gaye, whom the FBI described as an "unskilled laborer," is in the Maricopa County jail in Arizona awaiting extradition to Minnesota. A case synopsis on the "America's Most Wanted" website gives this account, based on information from police and the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office: Gaye was taking care of the girl when he assaulted her. She told her mother. A day later, the girl's uncle reported the incident to police and Gaye soon fled. In 2005, Gaye was convicted of misdemeanor domestic assault. Gaye was born in Liberia and followed his wife to the United States. When Gaye fled, his wife told authorities that he might seek other Liberian communities but would have difficulty leaving the country because he would have to apply for new documentation. |
