British tourist found dead in Jamaica

A British woman who was holidaying in Jamaica has been found murdered.

Police said they discovered the body of Barbara Scott Jones in a pit close to the house where she was staying in St James parish in the northwest of the island.

It is currently thought the woman died from a skull fracture.

The 61-year-old from Leeds was last seen on March 14 as she headed to Montego Bay to visit a friend.

She has been on an extended trip since January and had been expected to return to Britain on April 1.

Authorities are looking for a 30-year-old suspect they believe lives in the area, police Sgt Michael Francis said.

It is the first report of a tourist being killed this year on the Caribbean island.

More than 1,400 people, including 19 police officers, were killed in Jamaica in 2007.

Canada's largest city, Toronto, obsesses over its rising murder rates and has roughly the same population. The decrease from 2005 to 2007 can be explained by the movement to places like Toronto Canada, were gun murders went from 9 to 52 gun deaths.
Jamaica is a great destination for wiggers, but otherwise all travel from those islands should be banned.

SOMERTON, St James - The seven-day search for retired British nurse, Barbara Jayne Scott, ended yesterday - Good Friday - when her body was fished from a sewerage pit at her home in this St James district.

"It is clear that there was an established relationship between Omar Reid and the deceased woman, Miss Barbara Scott. She has been in Jamaica for over 20 years. We are still appealing with Mr Reid to come in because we still need to speak to him," said Superintendent Steve McGregor, head of the St James police.
