Discovery of naked woman leads to arrests of three "Hispanics"

THE DALLES, Ore. (AP) - Rape charges have been filed against two men and a juvenile after a naked woman was found alongside Dry Hollow Road, southeast of The Dalles.

She was found shortly after 2 a.m. Thursday and had been reported missing from a cabin camp near a local orchard operation.

Yesterday, the Wasco County Sheriff's office arrested 20-year-old Jorge Gutierrez, 19-year-old Juan Moreno-Aurlez and a 17-year-old juvenile.

The woman was taken to Mid-Columbia Medical Center in The Dalles.

After being interviewed by sheriff's deputies, the three males were located in a vehicle in the area of 15th and Kelly. Deputies arrested them.

They are currently being held in a jail facility in The Dalles.

Police ask for help finding gang rape suspect

THE DALLES, Ore. (AP) - Police in Oregon hope the public can help them track down a 22-year-old man from The Dalles who was a no-show at a Friday hearing on rape, sodomy and sex abuse charges.

Alejandro Morales was one of four suspects in a June 2007 rape in an orchard near The Dalles.

Two of the other suspects were convicted last week, after a jury trial.

Morales was last seen Saturday, June 21st, in The Dalles.

He is described as Hispanic, 5'6", 125 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
