Nigger cop arrested for beating hims wife

Officer put on leave following his arrest

A Shreveport police officer is on administrative leave after being arrested on a domestic abuse battery charge.

Dadrien Updite, 30, was arrested and booked into the Caddo Correctional Center on Tuesday night.

Updite joined the Shreveport Police Department in July 2008.

At about 1 a.m. March 7, Shreveport police received a domestic trouble call involving an off-duty officer. A police supervisor went to the scene and contacted the woman who made the call.

The woman, who identified Updite as her husband, told police that Updite physically attacked her during an argument on the late night of March 4 or the early morning of March 5, said Sgt. Bill Goodin, Shreveport Police Department spokesman.

A Shreveport police officer facing two domestic battery charges has been fired.

Police Chief Henry Whitehorn fired Dadrien Updite this afternoon.

Updite, who joined the department in 2008, was put on leave in March after a domestic battery arrest.

He was arrested on a second domestic battery charge in May.

Updite is accused of physically attacking his wife in both incidents.
