BOSTON -- Police are investigating a report of a sexual assault in the Blue Hills Reservation in Quincy.
A 40-year-old woman told State Police that she was assaulted by a black man armed with an ice pick on Chickatawbut Road at about 9:30 a.m. Wednesday.
The man exposed himself, groped the victim and fled, police said.
Women at the reservation on Wednesday said they were surprised to hear about the attack.
"I do you feel safe here," one woman said. "I think if you screamed, someone would hear you."
The woman was not seriously injured.
