Police: Pantsless man assaults woman

Rocky Mount, N.C. — A Rocky Mount woman told police that she was attacked Tuesday by a man wearing only a black T-shirt and white socks.
The 18-year-old woman told police that the man drove a dark green Chevrolet Lumina toward her near the intersection of Vance and Midway streets shortly after 4 p.m. He got out of the car, exposed himself and briefly grabbed her before jumping back into the car and driving off, she told police.
The woman wasn't injured in the incident.
The man was described as black, 45 to 55 years old, bald, about 5-foot-9 and 190 pounds.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 252-977-1111.
